Premier League Star forward Phil Foden won the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Year award on Tuesday.
Phil Foden, the Manchester City forward, earned the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award. His outstanding contributions, including 19 goals and eight assists, helped City clinch another Premier League title.

The young English sensation, Phil Foden, clinched the prestigious Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award on Tuesday. A pivotal figure in Manchester City’s historic fourth consecutive Premier League title, Foden showcased exceptional form throughout the season. His 19 goals and eight assists were instrumental in securing the championship, edging out Arsenal in a thrilling final-day showdown.

Phil Foden and Cole Palmer’s victories marked a historic moment for English football, as it was the first time since 2009-10 that both the senior and young player PFA awards went to English players. Wayne Rooney and James Milner were the last English duo to achieve this feat.
Palmer, an England international, showcased exceptional talent in his debut season at Stamford Bridge, following his transfer from Manchester City. His impressive goal-scoring record of 22 goals in the Premier League placed him second only to Erling Haaland, solidifying his position as a rising star in the league.
Manchester dominated the awards night, with Khadija Shaw adding the Women’s Player of the Year trophy to the City cabinet. Despite City’s narrow WSL title miss, Shaw’s 21-goal season earned her the prestigious individual honor.
